Spring up With ANAP GIRL!

Hello everyone, this is Minnie!^^

This Spring pop colors and patterns are in in the JS Fashion world in Japan, and ANAP GIRL is taking great advantage of this trend in their Spring 2014 collection. With a once American shop located in California, ANAP just happens to be one of the most popular brands among teenage girls to young adults, and is even featured in some well known fashion magazines!

In 2013, ANAP released a brand especially for juniors (elementary school-middle school aged). ANAP GIRL took the stage for the first time in the annual Tokyo Top Kids Collection wowed the audience with their designs. So what's in stores now for ANAP GIRL? In this post I'm going to show you some of my favorite coords, pieces, as well as current promotions ANAP is offering to their customers.

Let's go shopping!

Hello everyone, this is Minnie!~

Spring Break was very fun and exciting, especially while attending Anime Matsuri 2014. Anime Matsuri is a Houston based Japanese culture and Anime convention, and is one of the most largest in the North American Convention circuit.

Throughout the whole weekend, there were many special and fun events in which I took pictures of, as well as met some very important people in the Lolita fashion world!^^

So in this post, I'm going to share, as well as unveil a special surprise photo for all of you to see!^^

Stay Beautiful and Stylish: Motivation for new and aspiring non Asian GALS and Ulzzangs

Hello Everyone!

Unlike most of my posts, this one will focus mostly on inner beauty, natural looks, and having more confidence in one's self!

Growing up as a young African American woman, my mother made to become proud of my ethnic background and where I came from by educating me at an early age about African culture. At first when I was younger, my mother only bought me black barbie dolls. To me at that time, I thought it was rather strange that I didn't have any other dolls but black dolls, and wasn't allowed to have dolls that looked different from myself (other than black), but now that I'm older, in a way I kind of understand why she did what she did.

Happy Spring Break!^^

Hello everyone, this is Minnie, and happy Spring Break!~

This weekend for me was rather nice, and since Anime Matsuri Convention kicks off this upcoming Friday, I'm counting down the days, as well as continuing to practice my GAL make up to keep on point!^^

Anime Matsuri will be my first Anime Convention, so I'm very pumped to experience it as well as meet some of you on Friday the 14th.

The meet up time will be at 1 o'clock P.M at AM's Maid Cafe, so I can't wait to get to chat with some of you all as well as enjoy some Japanese snacks.

For those whom will be at the meet up, please dress your best, since the meet will be video taped and posted on You Tube as well as on my blog^^
