Summer seems to be going by in a blink of an eye, but there's still so much more planned on my Summer bucket list before back to college, (Yes, uni students even dread this time of year as well)!
In today's post, I'll have all the information on special summer events I'll be attending here in the Houston, future You Tube Goals, as well as a little more information on my Kawaii International episode coming up this month!
Since early May, I've been working closely with the lovely individuals at NHK, Directions inc. (they produce Kawaii International), and the Kawaii International team for their new segment, Kawaii Reporter!
Having aired for five years, Kawaii International is now allowing viewers to become more involved with their show by becoming a reporter of a kawaii fashion related event or meet up in their local areas.
As a Kawaii Reporter, I'm in charge of organizing camera and production crew, seeking filming locations, speaking with establishment owners for filming permission, making sure all participants understand their outlines, and that everything runs smoothly and satisfies my client (NHK/ Kawaii International). Basically, you're the director, and you run the show!^ ^
Although being a reporter is a lot of work, at the end of the day I had great pleasure working closely with both the company and show that I've admired for many years. There are so many amazing people that are behind the magic that makes Kawaii International, and it was wonderful to be apart of it.
As of now, applications are still open for Kawaii Reporters, and if you're an individual that genuinely loves being apart of a team, wishes to gain experience in television, whether it be behind the scenes, or in the spotlight, I truly encourage you to apply as its a great experience!
